Croydon office by East Croydon station
Bookkeeping, accounts, VAT, payroll and tax returns for sole traders, landlords and small companies. Our office is in AMP House, two minutes' walk from East Croydon station, and we work in English, Russian and Romanian.
We work with sole traders, landlords, contractors and small limited companies across the London Borough of Croydon. Our office is on the 4th floor of AMP House, Dingwall Road, CR0 2LX. From East Croydon station, take the main exit onto George Street, keep right and turn right into Dingwall Road. AMP House is on the left, opposite Boxpark, about two minutes on foot. The building has lifts and step-free access.
East Croydon has Southern and Thameslink trains, with direct services to London Bridge, London Victoria and Gatwick Airport. The tram stop is right outside the station, on the lines from Wimbledon, Beckenham Junction, Elmers End and New Addington. Parking near the station is limited, so the train or tram is usually easier.
You meet one of our accountants, in English, Russian or Romanian. Meetings are by appointment, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Bring your last tax return, bank statements or any HMRC letters, and after the meeting we send a fixed-fee quote in writing. You can see who is on the team on our About page. If you would rather not travel, we can hold the same meeting by video call.
For sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in Croydon and the CR postcodes.
We record your sales, costs and bank transactions each month and reconcile them to your bank statements. Your VAT returns and year-end accounts then start from figures that already match.
Year-end accounts for Companies House and the Corporation Tax return for HMRC. Corporation Tax is due 9 months and 1 day after your year end, and we tell you the amount before then.
Registration once your taxable turnover passes £90,000 in any 12-month period, then VAT returns filed through Making Tax Digital software. We check the figures with you before anything goes to HMRC.
Payslips, RTI submissions to HMRC, auto-enrolment duties and year-end forms for Croydon employers, including those with just one member of staff.
Tell us what you need and we'll come back with a clear, fixed-fee quote. No jargon and no obligation to go ahead.

Three points that affect many small businesses and self-employed people in the borough.
Croydon Council bills business rates for premises across the borough, including Purley and Coulsdon. Small business rate relief is claimed on an application form sent to the council's business rates team. We can check your bill and help you fill in the form.
Since 6 April 2026, sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000 must keep digital records and send HMRC quarterly updates. The threshold falls to £30,000 in April 2027 and £20,000 in April 2028. We set up the software and send the updates for you.
You must register for VAT when your taxable turnover goes over £90,000 in any rolling 12 months, not just the tax year. Registration is due within 30 days of the end of the month you went over, so it helps to check the running total each month.
Individuals and small businesses, rather than large corporate groups.
